Hilly and a mixture of forests, grasslands and crops characterize the landscapes. Their homogeneity is mainly due to the permanent and extremely fine mixture of trees and forests, water, farmland and buildings. They are mostly coppice species, in which the chestnut tree occupies a predominant place. Water is ubiquitous in several ways and is also one of the fundamental elements of landscapes. For example, a small river crosses the town: the Valouze. Agricultural land is in the majority.
